World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will release worldwide on August 14th, 2018.
The latest expansion to Blizzard's longstanding MMORPG brings the game back to its Alliance VS Horde roots, which is something that has not been seen in a number of years. Besides the "back to basics" approach, Blizzard is also touting a slew of new features and content for the upcoming expansion. New leveling zones for both factions allow players to reach level 120 for the first time. New end game content called Warfronts and Island Expeditions give players a brand new take on the end game content they've played since the inception of World of Warcraft in 2004. New dungeons and raids will also make an appearance but few details are available about those as of this writing.
Now in its 14th year, World of Warcraft is showing no signs of slowing down. Only time will tell how long we'll be exploring the world of Azeroth, but the safe bet is that it won't be leaving us any time soon. You can view the new "Features" trailer below.
Again, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth launches August 14th, 2018 worldwide.
