You could have YOUR face illustrated in CD Projekt Red's upcoming card game, Gwent. Here's how you can have the chance of being in a game!
Polish game developer, famous for its series The Witcher has launched a charity auction in support of Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy - WOŚP (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity), Poland’s largest non-governmental, non-profit charity who are dedicated to support health care in Poland. WOŚP supports Polish health care by raising money to purchase state of the art medical equipment for Polish hospitals and clinics.
In 2016, WOŚPmanaged to raise $18.4 million which was used for "Treatment of children in paediatric and oncology wards and dignified medical treatment of the elderly."
CD Projekt Red has launched the auction to celebrate the 25th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows the winning bidder to become one of Gwent’s heroes or heroines, illustrated on a card that will be loved or feared around the world.
The prize? To have your face illustrated on a card in CDPR’s upcoming card game, Gwent.
The aim of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is to ‘save the lives of children in paediatric wards and to provide dignified medical care for patients in geriatric wards’ too. Bidding began on January 13th and will continue through until January 24th at 16:30 UTC+1. With the current bid being at around £2 million (10,100,000zł), there is some serious competition for this prize.
