‘Mutants in Manhattan’ was announced today, confirming our collective suspicions that Activision is indeed working on a brand new Ninja Turtles title. The studio handling this latest iteration is Platinum Games, who you may know as the creators of Bayonetta, as well as Metal Gear Rising, two games which ought to prove their pedigree when it comes to hack & slash brawlers. The game itself appears to be in the vein of the classic Ninja Turtles arcade title, with 4-player co-op and stages divided up by boss fights. In the trailer we can see series staples such as April O’Neil  as well as everyone’s favourite porcine punk, Bebop. So far there is no release date, but hopefully this teaser trailer should whet your appetite.
