Bethesda Softworks have announced today that their award-winning RPG 'Fallout 4' has broken a number of records, including shipping 12 million physical copies to stores, generating $750 million just from bricks & mortar sales. Furthermore, their Pip-Boy edition which came packaged with a full-size replica of the in-game wristwatch/computer is now officially the fastest-selling collector's edition of any game in history. On top of that, the game has broken the record for most concurrent players on Steam with over 470,000 gamers playing at the same time. Finally, Fallout 4 was host to the most watched launch in the history of streaming, according to 'Twitch.'

President of Bethesda, Vlatko Andonov says he is "extremely proud of Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda Game Studios, and his experienced team of developers for their talent and dedication in creating this extraordinary game." It seems that Todd and the team can do no wrong, with a CV of excellent RPGs under their belt stretching back to the '90s, I know I can't wait to see what they produce next.
