It really feels like the weird and wonderful multiplayer mayhem games were rife this year at Rezzed. They're great fun and make for a great atmosphere at the venue. As we walked up to the stand, there were competitive screams and shouts from the crowd huddled around the TV, no mean feat at an expo really!

So, the premise is admittedly a little odd. Effectively, something awful happened zombifying most of the humans and also mutating animals into being sentient heroes of some kind. Naturally, you've decided (with up to 7 of your friends) to grab the weapons strewn around and take out the rampaging undead. However, let's face it, we're not playing for the story, we're playing to shoot some faces off.

You should be expecting entirely obligatory violence, gouts of blood (or confetti if you're so inclined) and a great way to get some friends round to have a fun session. The game will have online co-op available upon release but this is still in the works at the moment. It's extremely hard to quantify just how goofily fun it is to minigun down zombies as an elephant, so I should probably just let you watch us talking to Aniode below.

You can pick the game up now on Steam for a mere £6.99 on Early Access with Online Co-op presumably arriving by the release date on July 23rd.
