It is the week of remaster announcements, apparently! No sooner did we bring you the news of the Assassin's Creed Rogue remaster did this bit of news hit our inbox; Dark Souls is getting remastered for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch!
The new version will include the original games DLC (Artorias of the Abyss) as well as improved framerates and resolution across all platforms. The PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC versions of the remaster will upscale to 4K 60 FPS while the Switch version (in docked mode) will run at 30 FPS in 1080p resolution.
Namco also stated that nine online covenants will "motivate your online interactions" and will be hidden throughout the world for players to uncover.
Few other details were released, although we do have a release date across all platforms: May 25th, 2018.
