Update - 30/08/2013

Vaughn Live and Instagib have been re-added to our service line up.

Original Post

As of June 26, 2013, Instagib TV and Vaughn Live will be removed from our API Infrastructure due to ongoing issues with Instagib TVs API Framework. For the past few months, we have been unable to announce when channels are live and various other impacts on our Infrastructure.

The removal of Vaughn Live comes under a great deal of decision making. In addition to the API issues mentioned above, a concern has arisen about the content of some streams being broadcast. The potential of those broadcasts appearing on Lagspike.tv exists, making Lagspike.tv liable for the content.

So what does this mean?

With the removal of Vaughn Live and Instagib TV the services supported on Lagspike.tv at this time are as follows:
  • Twitch TV
  • Justin TV
  • UStream
  • Hashd TV
If you only have a Instagib TV or a Vaughn Live stream linked to your channel, you can choose to close your channel down by visiting the dashboard located here: http://lagspike.tv/dashboard/close
Or you can link another stream from one of the services mentioned above.

If you know of other streaming services Lagspike.tv should consider supporting, please contact us at community[at]lagspike[dot]tv and we will examine the services in question to look at inclusion to the list above.
We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause some of our community members and casters.
